How soon will I hear back?

We read every message and reply to the email you provide, usually within a couple of business days.

I want to volunteer - do I need to contact you first?

No. You can browse open opportunities and sign up directly on our Opportunities page. Message us only if you have a specific question.

My organization needs volunteers. How do I request them?

Use our request form with at least 35 days notice so we can plan properly. We review, approve, post, and match vetted volunteers, and we can set up check-in for your event.

Do you help students with community involvement hours?

Yes. MiVolunteer opportunities count toward Ontario's 40-hour community involvement requirement, and every volunteer receives a Certificate of Hours by email. Our Student Hours and For Schools pages have the details.

How can I support MiVolunteer beyond volunteering?
