MiVolunteer is a nonprofit and a volunteer agency. Nonprofits, community groups, schools and organizations across all of Ontario, from the GTHA and Ottawa to Niagara, London, Kingston, Sudbury and Thunder Bay come to us for volunteers for one-time events, long-term positions and roles inside their organization. We recruit, confirm and hand you your roster.

What we recruit for

A single Saturday or a role that runs all year. The request is the same, and so is the promise: we find the people.

One-time events and drives
Festivals, fundraisers, food drives, cleanups, community days and conferences. Tell us the date and the roles, and we fill the shifts.
Long-term and ongoing positions
Weekly program volunteers, recurring shifts, seasonal roles, tutors, drivers and anyone you need week after week.
Internal positions
Roles inside your organization: front desk and reception, office and admin support, program assistants and volunteer coordinators.

Recruitment done for you
We post your role, recruit from across all of Ontario, from the GTHA and Ottawa to Niagara, London, Kingston, Sudbury and Thunder Bay, screen interest and match people to your schedule.
Your roster, confirmed
We confirm the volunteers and hand you your roster, so you know exactly who is coming and when.
Check-in and hours
For events we can run check-in on the day. Every volunteer who checks in gets their hours recorded and a Certificate of Hours.
One point of contact
One team for everything volunteer related, so your staff can focus on your mission instead of chasing sign-ups.

How requesting works

Submit the request form at least 35 days before you need volunteers to start. We review it, post the role, recruit and match volunteers, then hand you your confirmed roster. For events, we can set up check-in too.
