Tell us about your organization and the roles you need filled: a one-time event, a long-term or ongoing position, or an internal role inside your organization. We ask for at least 35 days notice before volunteers need to start, so we can recruit properly.

We review and approve your request
Our team reviews the details, confirms the scope, and approves the request. We reach out if we need anything else.

We post it and match volunteers
We post the role, recruit volunteers from across all of Ontario, from the GTHA and Ottawa to Niagara, London, Kingston, Sudbury and Thunder Bay, and match them to your roles, shifts and schedule.

We hand you your roster
We confirm the volunteers and hand you your roster, so you know exactly who is coming. For events we can also run check-in on the day.
Why 35 days notice?
Recruiting and confirming reliable volunteers takes time. At least 35 days before volunteers need to start lets us post your role, recruit and match the right people, and build a roster you can count on.
Already collect signups on your own site?
No problem. Add your signup or application link to the request. Volunteers log in to MiVolunteer to get the link, so we can track interest, and it opens your site to register. We can still record hours so everyone earns a Certificate of Hours.
