MiVolunteer
Our impact

Real help, in real neighbourhoods.

Every number here is a meal served, a family supported, a yard cleared - the result of volunteers across all of Ontario, from the GTHA and Ottawa to Niagara, London, Kingston, Sudbury and Thunder Bay showing up since 2018.

The work behind the numbers

Food security, essentials, neighbours helping neighbours, cleaner parks, and hands-on support at community events - here is what our volunteers make happen.

Meals & food security
Preparing and distributing hot meals and meal kits to families and people in need across the communities we serve.
Clothing & essentials drives
Distributing clothing, feminine hygiene products, and hygiene and shave kits to people who need them.
Neighbours Helping Neighbours
Raking, mowing, snow shovelling, and yard cleanups for residents - our NHN initiative and ISNA Canada's Walk the Talk.
Environmental cleanups
Park and neighbourhood cleanups that keep our communities green, with tons of garbage removed.
Workshops & education
Sessions on mental health, the environment, health, safety, and socialization.
Event staffing & operations
Volunteers for large-scale events, festivals, camps, religious events, and community activities.
Schools & student hours
Working with schools so their students can find opportunities and earn their community involvement / volunteer hours.
