Lead MiVolunteer’s volunteer operations across an assigned region and support the municipalities and volunteer teams within it.

MiVolunteer is expanding its volunteer network across the Greater Toronto and Hamilton Area and, over time, into communities across Ontario and beyond. We are seeking Regional Managers who can help establish and oversee MiVolunteer’s presence across an assigned geographic region. Regional Managers provide an important layer of leadership between MiVolunteer’s central operations and its municipal teams. You will support Municipal Managers, help develop local operations, and ensure that MiVolunteer’s volunteer services are being delivered consistently throughout your region. Responsibilities include: * Oversee MiVolunteer volunteer operations within an assigned region * Support and supervise Municipal Managers * Help establish MiVolunteer operations in additional municipalities * Monitor volunteer recruitment and participation * Support major volunteer opportunities and events * Assist with regional volunteer recruitment * Identify local community needs and opportunities * Support relationships with local organizations * Ensure municipal teams follow MiVolunteer procedures * Help resolve operational issues * Communicate regional updates to Volunteer Operations leadership * Participate in planning and leadership meetings * Help develop strategies for regional growth Ideal Candidate: This position is suited to someone who is organized, dependable, comfortable leading others, and interested in community development. Regional Managers should be comfortable communicating with people from different backgrounds and communities and should be willing to take initiative when building MiVolunteer’s presence in their region.
