Up to 25 volunteer hours available per volunteer - 1 hour per completed video

MiVolunteer is looking for volunteers to help us create social media content that promotes volunteering, community involvement, and opportunities to make a difference across the GTHA and beyond. As a Social Media Content Creator, you will be given an assigned script and will record a short video based on that script. Your completed video will be submitted to the MiVolunteer team for review and use on our social media channels. What You’ll Do * Receive a video script from the MiVolunteer team * Record yourself delivering the assigned script * Create clear, engaging content suitable for social media * Submit your completed video to MiVolunteer * Make reasonable revisions if requested Volunteer Hours There are 25 videos available, with 1 volunteer hour awarded for each completed and accepted video. You do not have to complete all 25 videos. You can complete just one video for 1 hour, several videos for several hours, or work toward all 25 hours. The 25 available videos simply provide volunteers with flexibility to contribute as much time as works for them. Who Can Volunteer? This opportunity is open to students, adults, and anyone looking to contribute their time and skills to their community. It can be a great way to: * Earn community involvement or volunteer hours * Build communication and content-creation experience * Practice speaking on camera * Contribute to a community-focused organization * Help more people discover volunteering opportunities MiVolunteer provides volunteers with an official Certificate of Hours for the time they contribute. MiVolunteer opportunities can also be used toward Ontario high school community involvement hours. Requirements * Access to a smartphone or camera capable of recording video * Ability to clearly follow an assigned script * Reliable communication and timely submission * Willingness to represent MiVolunteer appropriately * No professional content-creation experience required You don’t need to commit to 25 hours.
